Yep, notifications are pretty useless this morning. You know what's NOT fun, going back to find the original article and then finding your comment and someone's comment to your comment!

Seems to be happening to a lot of people.

I get this too, then the web filter at work blocks the login page from loading past the Google screen.

I just go to my "takurospirit/private/notifications" URL and can view and click the links to the replies there.

Easy fix. Tap your name, then tap notifications on the new page. I say tap because on iPad and tapping.

You can still access notifications in your Private View. So I've got a tab open to that place.

Notification login loop happening to me, too.

Can't view any images in oppo unless I expand them due to the new hosting service. I can only see about half of the images in replies, too.

Piece of shit website.

Yes, we're looking into it. In the mean time, head over to yourname.kinja.com/private/notifications - if you get a 401 (you might!) refresh a few times. I'll let you know when the notification bug is fixed.

Happened to me as well. Deleting cache and cookies did a blessed nothing. Had to abandon that username.

Sorry, that wasn't directed at you.

The whole deployment and constant tweaking of Kinja is extremely frustrating. Now add the fact that a new image service is blocked on my network makes shit like that come out of my mouth.

I understand it can be frustrating. It seems like no one of the hardcore users are ever at a place of peace with Kinja, only various stages of acceptance and/or hate. We want to get better at this, and hope to stop changing the platform so rapidly in the future.

Regarding the images, that was a change that was made to improve performance, which it generally has, I believe it's only been you and one other who have experienced these problems - that's just shite luck. That said, I'm seeing if we can tweak anything to help your cause here.

I had this problem earlier. I waited 15 minutes, came back and it didn't (hasn't?) occur again (yet).

I am somewhere post acceptance in my own Kinja journey. I have not yet attained the level of the calm proselytizer, and I accept that I may never reach that state of kinja-nirvana.
